Begin with something real
Mention a shared memory, an appreciated quality or the reason for the gift. “Thank you for being there this week” says more than a long impersonal formula. For a birthday, a simple sentence and your signature are often enough.
Check the name and language
Check names and spelling before sending your text. For Arabic, check reading direction and ask for proofreading if needed. Avoid private information that could be visible when the gift is received.
